Adelaide Chamber Players was founded in 2007 featuring Adelaide’s finest young musicians from the Symphony Orchestra as well as the city’s best chamber ensembles. The players share a passion for music making and for communicating the invigorating and exciting music that has been written for chamber orchestra over the centuries.

Adelaide Chamber Players abound with the energy and magic of Bach for one evening only in May. Special guest and virtuoso violinist Kristian Winther will direct the orchestra and star as the soloist in J.S.Bach’s exuberant Violin Concerto in E major.
Kristian Winther has appeared as soloist with the Melbourne, Sydney and Tasmanian Symphony Orchestras, the Auckland Philharmonic, and the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra. Kristian has also been Guest Assistant Concertmaster of the Adelaide and Western Australian symphony orchestras and the Hong Kong Philharmonic.
