Crossing the boundaries of contemporary jazz and indie in a program of some of Australia’s finest music in the genres. Award winning jazz vocalist Megan Washington and Australian jazz luminary Paul Grabowsky return to Adelaide as a highly acclaimed duo. Blessed with a sublime voice and musical maturity beyond her years, Megan Washington is a major talent on the Australian music scene. Part indie, part folk and part jazz, the new musical collaboration between 23 year-old Megan Washington and jazz veteran Paul Grabowsky has been described as the strawberries and cream of the music world. Her uncommonly beautiful voice has the ability to float from note to note with complete naturalness and her poetic lyrics are filled with striking imagery.

Young Finnish pianist Paavali Jumppanen has become renowned particularly for his interpretations of the music of Beethoven. One of the leading young concert pianists on the world stage, Jumppanen presents Beethoven’s Tempest and Appassionata Sonatas and Sonatas by Mozart.
